Vancouver looks to finish Burnt Bridge Creek Trail:
This is a toxic area. One would hope the Columbian has not purposely published propaganda. It’s a lovely picture, but this is a toxic area. Please stay out of it for the health of your family and your children. No doubt the “Powers That Be” are trying to promote the Burnt Bridge Creek project as a Green Jewel. It’s a dangerous jewel. Poisonous water, poisonous greenery, poisonous mud. PLEASE STAY OUT OF IT.
We have all the faith in the world in our police and mayor and city council. We have great community policing here in Vancouver. This neighborhood alone has improved so much over the past ten years because of the police and community working together. [Read More...]

“Contamination of a public water supply by human fecal matter would appear to be a problem demanding immediate government action. But a neighborhood association in Vancouver, Washington is discovering that cleaning up their water is a complicated challenge, one that requires the deft application of political pressure, and a sustained effort of community collaboration.” KBOO’s Aaron Ernst visited the neighborhood to investigate and files this report.
